The trail connects to the Cherry Creek Regional Trail and Bayou Gulch Regional Park, which features playgrounds, a dog park, picnic shelters, and equestrian trails. This is a hidden gem that distinguishes CHP from every other show venue — you can walk off the grounds into open Colorado landscape. A dedicated “Trails & Open Space” section on the CHP site (or a trail map PDF download) would be a compelling addition for families and equestrians.
